Árhús is a roughly six-hectare campsite at Hella on the south coast, with space for tents, campervans, and caravans. There's no booking — you arrive and pick a spot. It runs late, staying open until November or December depending on the weather, and keeps a supermarket and indoor dining on site.
Space is the selling point here: about six hectares, enough that tents, campervans, and caravans all get room to spread out. There's no reservation system — you turn up, choose your pitch, and pay once you're settled. In July and August the reception opens 17:00 to 21:00. Arrive earlier and you can still drive in and pay later; roll in late and you can sort it the next morning. The fee covers hot showers, electricity, and a shared common area, with WiFi in the communal buildings. A supermarket, indoor dining, and a playground are on site too. The season stretches unusually long — open until November or December, weather allowing.
Wild camping rules have tightened. Use designated campsites to stay on the right side of the law.
