Gjárfoss is a waterfall on the Rauðá river in Iceland's South Coast.

Coming from the northeast, the river Rauða plunges 16 metres over a width of 3 metres. The Gjáin area lies northwest of the Þjórsá and can be reached via the Þjórsárdalsvegur and Stangarvegur roads. The Rauða flows on into the Fossá í Þjórsárdal and then the Þjórsá. Other nearby waterfalls are Háifoss with the Granni, and Hjálparfoss.
