The service building holds two toilets and a shower, plus a kitchen kitted out with a cooker, a two-compartment fridge, and even disposable plates and cutlery if you're caught short. There are tables and chairs inside, a small one for children, and a picnic table with benches outside. A fibre-optic connection keeps the WiFi quick. Families get a playground with a trampoline and a play castle. Dogs are welcome if you ask first, and the site stays open all year.
Wild camping rules have tightened. Use designated campsites to stay on the right side of the law.
