About

Neðan við Kötlu vestan vegar er Kötlustrengur en efst í strengnum sprettur lítil uppspretta fram undan vegkantinum sem kallast Litli-Geysir. Vestan við veginn út að Laxá, skammt frá gamalli vöruskemmu KÞ er Fótarhellir.

Strokkur is a fountain-type geyser located in a geothermal area beside the Hvítá River in Iceland in the southwest part of the country, east of Reykjavík.

Steam rises around you as you sink into naturally heated water. The contrast of warm water and cold air is pure Iceland.

Natural hot springs vary in temperature - some spots are scalding, others barely warm. Test with your hand first, always.
