Brúarjökull is an outlet glacier in the Vatnajökull Group, the Highlands.
Largest of Vatnajökull’s outlet glaciers; it is located on the northern margin of Vatnajökull and has a history of huge surges. It's part of the Vatnajökull Group. The name comes from the Brú farmstead.
Ice caves are winter-only experiences. In summer, they collapse. Book ahead in peak season.
