Töfrafoss
About
Töfrafoss is a waterfall in East Iceland.
Kringilsárfoss (also known as Töfrafoss) was a waterfall about 25 metres high on the river Kringilsá, which drew most of its water from the Brúarjökull glacier. Just below the falls, the river joined Jökulsá á Dal. In 2006 the waterfall was largely submerged by Hálslón, the reservoir of the Kárahnjúkar hydroelectric power station.
