About
A tents-only campsite beside Hótel Torfnes, within walking distance of central Ísafjörður in the Westfjords. It's stripped back — no electricity and no shared shelter — with showers on site and toilets inside the hotel. Open from mid-June to mid-August.
Torfnes is for tents and nothing else — no caravans, no electricity, no communal shelter. What you get is a pitch beside Hótel Torfnes and a short walk into the centre of Ísafjörður, the largest town in the Westfjords. The facilities are minimal but cover the basics: showers are on site, toilets are inside the hotel, and there's Wi-Fi. That's the deal. The season is short, running from 15 June to 15 August. If you're travelling light through the Westfjords and want to be within walking distance of Ísafjörður's shops and cafés, a tent here does the job without any fuss.
