Hegranes

Hegranes takes group bookings only, which makes it a different proposition from most sites. Your party gets the grounds to itself, plus a large indoor hall to fall back on for meals, gatherings, or a wet afternoon. The house runs to about 270 square metres and seats around 110. It comes with tables and chairs, four toilets, and a kitchen kitted out with a dishwasher, fridge, stove, and coffee maker. Mattresses are on hand, with an accommodation licence covering up to 20 people overnight. Outside, a big garden serves as the camping area. There's electricity, a playground, and walking paths nearby. It's set up for one crowd at a time rather than passing traffic.

Wild camping rules have tightened. Use designated campsites to stay on the right side of the law.
