Flateyri is a small village northwest of Önundarfjörður, now part of the Ísafjörður municipality, home to roughly 300 people. The campsite tucks in at the base of the mountainside, in a little grove. Right next door are a children's playground and a barbecue area, and it's a short walk to the swimming pool and a restaurant. On-site you'll find electricity, cold water and toilets. It's a modest, sheltered spot — a quiet place to stop while working your way round this corner of the Westfjords.
