Alternative name of Kötlujökull, an outlet glacier from the southeastern margin of Mýrdalsjökull. It's part of the Mýrdalsjökull Group. The name comes from the Höfðabrekka farmstead.
Ice caves are winter-only experiences. In summer, they collapse. Book ahead in peak season.
