Skiptárfoss is a waterfall in the Westfjords of Iceland.
The stream Skiptá, which forms the boundary between the two municipalities, is the outflow of Skiptárvötn and plunges 80 m down. The stream is fed by snowmelt, and toward the end of summer it carries little water. Until 2014, the road (Vestfjarðavegur, Route 60) crossed a bridge between the waterfall and the mouth of the fjord Kjálkafjörður; the route was later realigned to bypass the inner fjord.
