Skagaströnd

A 6 x 12 m outdoor pool, originally built in 1947. There is also a hot tub with a viewing wall, renovated in 2017. It is a small, tidy swimming facility.

Patreksfjörður

Pool in Patreksfjörður, gateway to Látrabjarg cliffs and Rauðisandur beach. Outdoor pool and hot tubs. Essential stop in the southern Westfjords - services are limited out here.

Geothermal nature baths in a rural setting at Hraunsnef in Borgarfjörður, part of the Hraunsnef country hotel. Guests bathe in warm geothermal water with views over the surrounding countryside.

Íþróttamiðstöðin Búðardal

A sports centre in Búðardal with a 25-metre outdoor pool, hot tubs, a wading pool, a sauna and a cold tub, with views over Hvammsfjörður. The pool water comes from a borehole in Reykjadalur and is kept at 28–30°C, the hot tubs at 38–40°C and the wading pool at about 35°C.

A pool at the primary school in Lýsuhóll, Staðarsveit. The water is natural hot mineral spring water straight from the ground and ranges from 24 to 35°C. It is rich in minerals, including high levels of magnesium and calcium, and contains a green algae (chlorella). No chemicals such as chlorine are added to the water.

Sundlaugin Hvammstanga

A 25 x 11 m outdoor pool with four lanes. There is a hot tub with massage jets, a wading pool, a steam bath, a water slide, a children's tub, and a gym. A washer and dryer are available for guests.

The swimming pool in Ólafsvík, on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Weekdays open from 7:30am, weekends from 9am. Adult entry 1,800 ISK.

Stykkishólmur

A 25x12 m outdoor pool with a 57 m water slide, a wading pool, two hot tubs, and one cold tub. There is also a 12 m indoor pool used mainly for lessons and training. The hot tubs use mineral water piped directly from a borehole at Hofstaðir, which is said to help with skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
