Bjarnalaug

Cozy historic pool built in 1944 in Akranes. Indoor pool with outdoor hot tub. Popular for baby swim classes and kids' lessons. Can rent for birthday parties. Small and intimate compared to Jaðarsbakkalaug.

Hvammsvík

Sea baths in Hvammsvík, about a 45-minute drive from Reykjavík, set along the shore of Hvalfjörður.

Þorlákshöfn

A 25 m pool with two hot tubs, a wading pool, two water slides, and an indoor pool with many water play features. The indoor pool is shallow at just 45 cm deep, popular with young children. There is a steam bath, two large changing rooms, two outdoor changing rooms, and separate changing facilities for people with disabilities.

Vestmannaeyjar

Vestmannaeyjar's pool was inaugurated on July 10, 1976. Groundbreaking on a new outdoor area started November 17, 2008, and it officially opened in spring 2010 — locally regarded as one of the best outdoor pool areas in the country.

Laugarvatn

A 25-metre pool with three hot tubs, a steam bath, and a cold tub.

Kirkjubæjarklaustur

Located at the sports centre, with a wading pool and a hot tub from which you can see Systrafoss waterfall. A gym and sports hall share the changing rooms and service building with the pool.

Hvolsvöllur

A 25 x 10.6-metre pool with two soaking pools and one wading pool. A 47.5-metre water slide was installed in 2008.

Hreppslaug was built in 1928. It is open only during the summer.

Íþróttamiðstöðin í Reykholti

The Reykholt sports centre has a pool with a water slide, two hot tubs, a cold tub, a sports hall, and a gym.

Flúðir

Flúðir's pool sits right in the village centre, where the weather's often a touch better than most other places in Iceland.

Vopnafjörður - Selárdalur

The pool sits on the bank of the Selá river, in a shallow canyon 3.5 km off Route 85 towards Bakkafjörður. Few pools in Iceland get a setting this good. A natural hot spring right next to the pool used to fill it directly — today, that water heats it instead.

Sundlaugin að Hlöðum

An outdoor pool with a small water slide for young children and a wading pool. There are two hot tubs, a cold pool, and a sauna that holds 10 people. Both indoor and outdoor changing rooms are available.

Íþróttamiðstöðin Borgarnesi

A 25 x 12.5 m outdoor pool with 3 water slides, a children's wading pool, and 2 hot tubs (one with strong jet massage). There is also a massage pool, a 12.5 x 8 m indoor pool, a steam bath fed directly from Deildartunguhver, a sauna, and a sunbathing area.

Vík

An outdoor pool complex. The main pool is 16.7 m at 28-29°C, with a children's pool at 37-38°C, a hot tub at 40-42°C, a cold tub, and a sauna.

Sundlaugin Laugaskarði

Pool in the geothermal town of Hveragerði. The whole town sits on hot springs - water is naturally heated. Outdoor pool and hot tubs. Gateway to Reykjadalur hot river hike.

Sundhöll Selfoss

Located in the centre of Selfoss with ample parking. It has an 18-metre indoor pool, a 25-metre outdoor pool, a children's pool with three water slides, a wading pool, a steam bath, a sauna, and hot and cold tubs. There are four changing rooms (two indoor, two outdoor) plus dedicated changing facilities for disabled visitors; a 2015 extension added an indoor children's pool.

Stokkseyri

An 18-metre outdoor pool with a water slide, a wading pool, and two hot tubs. The building has spacious men's and women's changing rooms.

Hella

A 25 x 11-metre pool that meets competition standards. It has five hot tubs (one massage tub, two hot tubs, and two wading pools) and three water slides (two large, one small), plus a steam bath and a sunbathing area. The pool adjoins the sports hall.
