Vök Baths is a ticketed geothermal bath on Lake Urriðavatn in East Iceland, 4.9 km from Egilsstaðir.
9 km north-west of Egilsstaðir. The pools are built out over the lake — the operator calls them Iceland’s only floating pools — and admission also covers a steam bath, a cold plunge and the lake itself.
Summer hours (15 June to 15 September) are 10:00–23:00 daily; winter (16 September to 14 June) is 12:00–22:00. You can stay in the pools until 15 minutes before closing. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are in the showers, and there is herbal tea at the tea bar.
Adults 16 and over pay 7,690 ISK, read off vokbaths.is on 2026-07-28. Walk-ins are not accepted in high summer — book a slot. This is a published rate and not a live feed, so confirm before booking.
