Þverfell

Þverfellshorn is a peak in the Esjan mountains of Capital Region in southwestern Iceland. It is located roughly 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) by air northeast of Reykjavík. It is one of the most visited peaks in Iceland, attracting hikers for its scenic views. Its elevation range is 820 metres (2,690 ft) - 840 metres (2,760 ft). The car park at the foot of the mountain is known as "Mógilsá".

Óshyrna is a mountain in the Westfjords in Iceland. It is the outermost part of the mountain slope between Ísafjörður and Bolungarvík. The old road to Bolungarvík lies between Óshyrna and the ocean. The Óshlíð road is one of Iceland's most dangerous roads because of frequent avalanches and rock falls. The road has four emergency shelters along its route.

Tindar

The Highland or The Central Highland is an area that comprises much of the interior land of Iceland. The Highland is situated above 300–400 meters (980–1,310 ft) and is mostly uninhabitable. The soil is primarily volcanic ash, and the terrain consists of basalt mountains and lava fields. Snow covers the Highland from October until the beginning of June. A few oasis-like areas, such as Herðubreiðarlindir and Þórsmörk, are also found in the Highland. The area has many notable natural features and hiking trails.

Djúpuhlíðarfjall

Hlíðarfjall is a mountain and ski resort located around 6 km west of the Icelandic town Akureyri in Eyjafjörður. The mountain itself has an elevation of 1,200m, It is the second largest ski resort in Iceland and reaches a top elevation of 1,014m. The base of the resort is at an elevation of 500m.
