About this vehicle

The Vito Prestige is the standard Vito's more comfortable sibling: same nine seats, same 2WD automatic drivetrain, same group-travel purpose, but with a higher-spec interior finish. If comfort on long driving days matters as much as capacity, this is the trim to book.

It's aimed at the same use case as the rest of the group-van lineup — extended families, work groups, and friends who'd rather travel together than split into multiple cars — just with a bit more polish for the extra cost.

As with the standard Vito, the value proposition is comfort and capacity on paved roads, not off-road capability.

Where it can take you

2WD, built for paved roads — Ring Road, Golden Circle, South Coast. Good gravel at low speed is fine; F-roads are illegal in a 2WD and would void the insurance. Skip rougher unpaved routes and any highland driving.

Winter driving

Handles cleared, plowed winter roads well, with studded tyres fitted seasonally (Nov 1–Apr 14) under Icelandic rental law. Being a tall van, it's more affected by crosswinds than a low car — check wind forecasts before winter drives on exposed coastal roads.

Luggage & fuel

With all 9 seats filled, plan for about one bag per person. Drop to 6–7 passengers for meaningfully more luggage room.
