Þórsmörk will provide you with an experience of a lifetime, surrounded as it is by the volcanic glaciers of Mýrdalsjökull, Tindfjallajökull and Eyjafjallajökull (the one that erupted in 2010). We, of course, stop by at some beautiful sceneries along the way too. Among them is Gígjökull, an outlet glacier from Eyjafjallajökull, and from where a major glacial flood came down during the 2010 eruption, changing the landscape dramatically. We will drive between the sights in our specially adapted Super Jeeps which are capable of handling rough terrain and un-bridged rivers, thus experiencing the magnificent power and colours of nature, with canyons, hanging glaciers and glacial rivers all around, set amongst birch trees and vivid green moss clad rocks.
