Just 500 meters to the northwest lies another hidden gem, Gljúfrabúi, a stunning waterfall well worth the walk.

✓ Skógafoss – Stand in awe of Skógafoss, one of the country's largest waterfalls, boasting an impressive width of 25 meters and a breathtaking drop of 60 meters. On sunny days, the abundant spray from the waterfall often creates a single or double rainbow.

✓ Reynisfjara: The Famous Black Beach – a black pebble beach adorned with striking basalt column cliffs. Gaze out to sea and witness the basalt sea stacks known as Reynisdrangar. This area is rich in birdlife, including the beloved puffins, fulmars, and guillemots.

✓ Jökulsárlón: – a glacial lake situated on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. As the glacier receded from the Atlantic Ocean's edge, the lake was formed, now positioned 1.5 kilometers away from the ocean and covering an area of approximately 18 km2. With depths exceeding 248 meters, it holds the distinction of being Iceland's deepest lake and is considered one of the country's natural wonders.
