About this tour

This is a strictly private ascent. Unlike group tours that move in convoys, our pace is dictated solely by you. Whether you wish to focus on the technical aspects of ice walking, the photography of volcanic ash layers, or simply the silence of the glacier, your guide curates the route to ensure separation from the crowds and a profound connection with the landscape.

CURATED HIGHLIGHTS

• The Ascent: Navigate the labyrinth of ancient ice, exploring features formed over centuries of compression and movement.

• The Science: A masterclass in glaciology. Understand the retreat of the ice and the volcanic history written in the ash layers beneath your feet.

• The Gear: Experience the thrill of using technical equipment—crampons and ice axes—mastering the art of movement on ice.

Good to know

  • Meeting Point
