The small fishing villages of Hellissandur, Ólafsvík and Grundarfjörður are also on the way. At Grundarfjörður you will get to walk up to the famous mountain Kirkjufell, where you can breathe in the fresh air and stretch your legs. There is also the possibility to stop at Bjarnarhöfn Shark museum on this tour, where you can have the chance to try out the traditional Icelandic rotten shark.
