What to bring

• Clothing & footwear
• Warm, waterproof, and windproof outer layer - Icelandic weather can change within minutes regardless of season.
• Thermal base layer and mid-layer fleece for colder months (October-April).
• Sturdy, waterproof hiking shoes or boots - paths at Þingvellir and Gullfoss can be wet, muddy, or icy.
• Warm hat, gloves, and a scarf - especially important outside summer months.
• Sunglasses - useful year-round, essential in summer and on bright winter days.
• For Silfra Snorkeling
• Thermal base layer (wool or synthetic) - worn under the dry suit. No cotton, no jeans.
• Warm socks - your feet will thank you.
• A full change of warm, dry clothes for after the snorkeling.
• Contact lenses if you wear glasses - standard masks do not fit over glasses.
• Small towel - for drying off after the experience.

Good to know

• The tour starts from any location in Reykjavik. Your guide will get in touch with you and pick you up directly from outside your accommodation.
• This private experience can accommodate groups of up to 8 passengers, making it perfect for families or small groups traveling together. Snorkeling tickets and equipment are not included in initial price but can be added at check out page.
• Confirmation & pickup
• You will receive a booking confirmation immediately after purchase.
• Hotel pickup is included.
• Groups of 1-3 travel in a private sedan; groups of 4-8 travel in a private minivan.
• Health & accessibility
• This tour involves easy walking on uneven natural terrain. It is not recommended for guests with serious mobility limitations.
• The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
• Children & age requirements
• Minimum age for Silfra Snorkeling is 12 years old.
• Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the tour.
• Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety of children throughout the tour.
• Food & drinks
• Food and drinks are not included. Cafés and snack options are available at stops along the route.
• Silfra Snorkeling
• Silfra Snorkeling tickets are not included in the initial price and can be added at the checkout page.
• Advance booking of Silfra tickets is strongly recommended, especially in peak season (please contact our team immediately).
• Participants must be able to swim independently.
• Height requirement: minimum 150cm, maximum 200cm.
• Weight requirement: minimum 45kg, maximum 120kg.
• Pregnant participants are not permitted to snorkel in Silfra.
• Participants aged 65 and over may be required to provide a doctor's certificate of fitness.
• Thermal base layers (wool or synthetic - no cotton, no jeans) are required under the dry suit. Bring a warm change of clothes for after.
