The mystical glacier at the tip of Snæfellsnes peninsula. Jules Verne sent his explorers down through it to the center of the Earth. Some believe it's an energy center. On clear days, visible from Reykjavík. Actually a glacier-capped volcano.

Þórisjökull or Thórisjökull is a small glacier and volcano in western-central Iceland, to the southwest of Langjökull glacier. It has an elevation of 1,350 metres (4,430 ft). Kaldidalur lies in the foreground.

Geitlandsjökull is a lateral glacier of Langjökull, with a flowshed of 13 km2 (5.0 sq mi) from the second largest ice cap in Iceland at 904 km2 (349 sq mi), in the west of Iceland. It has also been used as the name for the substantial Langjökull ice cap, as has the name Suðurjöklar. The highest point of Geitlandsjökull, which lies on top of a tuya, reaches a height of 1,400 m (4,600 ft).
