About this tour

Experience the total solar eclipse in Iceland on a small-group 4×4 vehicle tour led by experts in meteorology and stargazing.

This tour has no fixed destination . Using real-time satellite imagery and cloud-cover forecasts, we choose the route on the day to find the clearest skies within the path of totality , including driving up to 6 hours to the Westfjords if required.

Group size is strictly limited to maintain flexibility and quality:

• Up to 10 passengers per 4×4 vehicle

• A maximum of 2 vehicles operating together

• No more than 14 passengers in total per group

Certified solar eclipse glasses are provided, along with clear safety guidance and expert explanations throughout the day. During totality, the Sun’s corona becomes visible and daylight briefly turns briefly to twilight.

This is a full-day expedition , designed around adaptability, expertise, and maximizing your chances of witnessing one of the rarest natural events on Earth.
