Part 1: 1-Hour Reykjavik Peak ATV Tour

• Convenient Pickup: We'll pick you up from your Reykjavik hotel or nearby bus stop and take a short journey to our quad biking base camp.

• Gear Up & Get Ready: Our expert guides will provide all the necessary safety and driving instructions. No experience is necessary – everyone is welcome!

• Scenic Ride & Thrilling Ascent: Ride along the beautiful Lake Hafravatn and tackle a variety of terrains. Ascend to the top of Reykjavik Peak mountain for spectacular views of the Hengill mountain range, Hellisheiði geothermal power plant, Faxaflói bay, the capital region, Bláfjöll mountain range, and Esja, Reykjavik’s iconic house mountain.

• Drop-off: After your ATV adventure, we will drop you off at the pick-up spot for your next part of the adventurous day.

Part 2: Rafting on the Hvítá River

• Magnificent River Adventure: Experience Icelandic nature in a new way by rafting down the Hvítá River. This glacier river runs from Langjökull glacier, Iceland’s second biggest glacier, through stunning landscapes shaped by the roaring waters.

• Brúarhlöð Canyon: One of the highlights of the rafting tour, this canyon features grand rock formations, portholes, and sculpted breccia walls, showcasing the power of the river.

• Gullfoss Waterfall: The Hvítá River feeds the famous Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s most visited attractions.

• Relax & Refresh: After rafting, relax in the sauna at Drumbó, enjoy a grilled lamb meal in the restaurant, or have a drink at the bar.

What’s included

  • River Rafting on Hvítá river, wetsuit, live-vest, helmet and all equipment for rafting. Entry to sauna and shower facilities. Guidance by a certified rafting guide. Food can also be purchased on location.

What to bring

  • Clothing: Warm undergarments, preferably fleece or wool. Warm socks and sweater and a change of clothes. Bathing suit & towel.

Good to know

  • Each driver must hold a Full driver license, passengers do not need a license.
  • Drivers must be 18 years of age
  • passengers min age is 11 years old (non drivers)
  • Prices are per person
  • to book sharing option you need min 2 participants
  • if there is a odd number of passengers (ex 1-3-5) then one person must book the single rider option
  • the ATVS can hold 2 persons at once

For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given. For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given* *Note that in the event the client requests a refund for any reason, Tour Desk reserves the right to charge a 3% administration fee to cover costs incurred.
